RJ45 is a type of information socket connector in the wiring system. So what is an information socket?

What is an information socket?
The physical interface for connecting distribution cables and work area patch cords.
The most common ones are usually installed on the wall. Also tabletop and floor types exist. Mainly to facilitate the movement of computers and other equipment. And keep the entire wiring beautiful.

Termination of information socket
Use information sockets. It not only makes the wiring system more standardized and flexible, but also more beautiful and convenient. This will hardly affect the original layout and style of the room.
1.Tools
Terminating information modules requires the use of cable preparation tools and wire bonding tools.
Cable Preparation Tool - Stripper. Function: Used to peel off the insulation layer on the outside of the twisted pair. Using it for stripping is not only faster than using crimping pliers, but it's also safer. Generally, the insulation covering the core wires will not be damaged.
The wiring tool is used to press the twisted pair wires into the module and cut off the excess wire ends.

2. Terminate information socket
Step 1: Pull the twisted pair out of the wiring box and cut it to the appropriate length. Use a cable preparation tool to peel off the outer insulation, then use scissors to cut off the tensile wires.
Step 2: Place the RJ-45 interface of the information module downward on a hard surface such as a desktop or wall.
Step 3: Separate the 4 pairs of wires in the network cable. But do not separate the wire pairs. Follow the wiring sequence indicated on the information module. Use a little force to insert the wires into the corresponding wire trough one by one.
Normally, the module is marked with both 568A and 568B line sequences. Users should follow the regulations in wiring design. Use the same wire sequence as other connected devices.
Step 4: Align the cutting edge of the wiring tool with the wire grooves and wires on the information module. Apply vertical downward pressure. Hear a "click" sound. Excess wires outside the module will be cut off.
Step 5: Insert the plastic dust-proof sheet of the module into the module along the gap. And firmly fixed on the information module. Module termination is complete.
Step 6: Insert the information module into the corresponding slot in the information panel. Then use screws to firmly fix the panel to the bottom box of the information socket. This completes the termination of the information socket.

The above is an introduction to information sockets and their terminations. By reading this article, I hope you will have a better understanding of information sockets.
