Not all routers offer PoE power supply. Ordinary routers usually do not have PoE power supply function because integrating PoE power supply into the router will increase the cost. Supported devices are usually network devices such as switches or APs, not ordinary routers.

Basic concepts and standards
POE (Power over Ethernet) is a technology that transmits data and power simultaneously through network cables.
It allows IP-based devices such as IP phones, wireless access points and network cameras to be powered through RJ45 network cables.
POE devices include power supply devices and powered devices.
PSE is a device that supplies power on the network cable, while PD is a device powered by POE.

Functional differences between different types of routers
The difference between ordinary routers and PoE routers is that the LAN port of ordinary routers is only used to transmit data and does not have power supply function.
PoE routers can provide power to connected devices while transmitting data. If power supply is required, devices that support PoE are usually required.
